EPOCH at Brewster Place to host memoir-writing presentation

Description
Writing oneâs memoirs or family history can be an intensely personal and rewarding journey, but getting started can be hard. David Martin, president of the Cape Cod Genealogical Society, will hold a presentation at EPOCH Assisted Living at Brewster Place on Sunday, Feb. 26, at 2:30 p.m. to discuss how to research and write personal or family history.
Martin will address the reasons why memoir-writing can be beneficial for the writer, family and community history, and provide tips on where to find information, such as the Genealogical Societyâs records, and how to begin research and writing. Participants in EPOCH at Brewster Placeâs memoir-writing course will have a chance to meet Martin before the presentation.
